Renan Orsati Clara

Farmacêutico (2007), Mestre em Bioquímica pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP; 2010) e Doutor em Ciências (Metabolismo tumoral) pela Universidade de São Paulo (FCF-USP; 2015). Durante o doutorado realizou estágio sanduíche em Regensburg Universität (Regensburg, Alemanha, 2012) e estudou a interação metabólica entre células do microambiente tumoral (imunes, estromais e tumorais) em melanomas. Após o doutorado, realizou pós-doutorado na FCF-USP (2015), onde coordenou estudos em Oncoimunologia e Bioquimíca Tumoral. No mesmo ano assumiu a posição de Professor Associado em Bioquímica I e II e Fisiopatologia na Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). Em 2016 atuou como gerente de consultoria médico-científica em Oncologia (MSL manager) na QuintilesIMS. Em 2017 ingressou na Sociedade Brasileira de Oncologia Clínica (SBOC) como gerente educacional e em 2018 passou a Gerente Geral da Instituição, coordenando todos os programas e atividades para o desenvolvimento da Oncologia Clínica no Brasil.

Pharmacist (2007) with Masters in Biochemistry at Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP - 2010) and PhD in Sciences (Tumor Metabolism) at University of São Paulo (FCF-USP, 2015). During the PhD has done an internship at Regensburg University (Germany, 2012) and studied metabolic interaction among tumor microenvironment cells (immune, stromal and tumoral) in melanoma. After PhD, assumed a postdoctoral position at FCF-USP, where coordinated studies in Oncoimmunology and tumor biochemistry. In 2015 also assumed a position of Associate professor of Biochemistry I and II and Fisiopathology at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). In 2016 became medical science liaison manager Oncology (MSL) at QuintilesIMS. In 2017 joined the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology (SBOC) as Education Manager and in 2018 became General Manager of the Institution, where he coordinates all programs and activities to the development of Clinical Oncology in Brazil. PhD-qualified pharmacist who strategically plans and drives operations for the growth of health care in Brazil. Blends strong leadership with the ability to easily adapt to change to provide multicultural teams with the guidance, data driven mindset, resources, support, and motivation to surpass defiant objectives and critical industry issues. Creates and stimulates other players to value-adding projects. Experienced in improving education and health care, access to medicines and governmental and international relationship.
