Paulo Alves Resende

Agricultural Engineer from the Federal University of Uberlândia in 2006 with a Masters in Plant Genetics, Biotechnology and Plant Breeding at the Campinas Agronomic Institute in 2012. He worked for eight years at Pepsico Company of Brazil Ltda, in the agricultural research sector, working in the variety innovator program, by participating in the breeding strategy (CEDAP center in Lima - Peru, and Frito Lay in Rhinelander - United States), conducting the tests of Value of Cultivation and Use (VCU) in the Bahia, Goiás, Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Paraná states, and in the seed fields. I'm currently working how a Agricultural Federal Fiscal in the Agricultural Inputs Inspection Service (SEFAG/SFA/MAPA-PA) in the inspection of seeds and seedlings in Para State.

Engenheiro Agrônomo formado pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia em 2006, com Mestrado em Genética Vegetal, Biotecnologia e Melhoramento de Plantas pelo Instituto Agronômico de Campinas em 2012. Trabalhou por 8 anos na Empresa Pepsico do Brasil Ltda, no setor de pesquisa agrícola, atuando no desenvolvimento de novas variedades da Batata, através da participação na estratégia de melhoramento, nos Centros do CEDAP, em Lima - Peru, e da Frito Lay, em Rhinelander - EUA, na realização dos ensaios de Valor de Cultivo e Uso (VCU), nos estados da Bahia, Goiás, Minas Gerais, São Paulo e Paraná, e condução dos campos de sementes. Atualmente é Fiscal Federal Agropecuário atuando no Serviço de Fiscalização de Insumos Agropecuários (SEFAG/SFA/MAPA-PA) na Fiscalização de Sementes e Mudas no Estado do Pará.
