Beatriz Albarez de Assunção

Master's degree in Science from the Graduate Program in Textile and Fashion from the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo, where she also obtained a bachelor's degree in the course of Textile and Fashion. Her research is in the area of clothing history in Brazil during the nineteenth century, seeking to be based on periodical publications of the time and visual records, such as photographs. Participant in the Research Group of Costume, Clothing and Technology at the University of São Paulo. The main topics of interest are: 19th century, fashion, periodicals, Brazil.

Mestre em Ciências pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Têxtil e Moda pela Escola de Artes, Ciências e Humanidades da Universidade de São Paulo, onde também obteve o grau de bacharel no curso de Têxtil e Moda. Tem pesquisa na área de história do vestuário no Brasil durante o século XIX, procurando basear-se em publicações periódicas da época e registros visuais, como fotografias. Participante do Núcleo de Traje de Cena, Indumentária e Tecnologia da Universidade de São Paulo. Os principais temas de interesse são: século XIX, moda, periódicos, Brasil.
