Luciana Santos-Barbosa

Doctoral candidate of the Neuroscience and behavior program of University of São Paulo?s Psychology Institute (IP-USP), graduated and acquired a master?s degree in Social History in the History Department of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). At present, develops interdisciplinary research involving the following fields of study: Neurosciences and technology; cognitive sciences; Neurosciences, Society and Human-machine Interaction; and the following specific subjects: reverse engineer of the human brain; neural correlates of consciousness, the social impacts of the interaction between neurosciences and technology; technological developments related to Artificial intelligence, biomechatronics, biorobotics and biomechanics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Arturo Forner-Cordero and Prof. Dr. Osvaldo Frota Pessoa Junior.

Doutoranda do Programa de Neurociência e Comportamento do Instituto de Psicologia ? USP e do Laboratório de Biomecatrônica da Escola Politécnica da USP. Mestra em História Social e Bacharel com licenciatura em História pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) . Atualmente desenvolve pesquisa de caráter interdisciplinar, atuando nos seguintes campos de estudo: Neurociências e Tecnologia; Ciências Cognitivas; Tecnologia, Neurociências e Sociedade e Interação humano - máquina, envolvendo os seguintes temas específicos: correlatos neurais da consciência, engenharia reversa do cérebro humano, impactos sociais da intersecção entre as neurociências e a tecnologia, desenvolvimento tecnológico atrelado à inteligência artificial, biomecatrônica, biorobótica, biomecânica sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Arturo Forner-Cordero e coorientação do Prof. Dr. Osvaldo Frota Pessoa Jr.
