Rodrigo Rudge Ramos Ribeiro

Doutorado internacional em Ecologia Tropical com menção honrosa pela Universidade de Alicante na Espanha, com período sanduíche no Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) na Alemanha, mestrado em Energia e Gestão Ambiental pela Universidade de Aveiro em Portugal na condição de pesquisador-bolsista do programa de bolsas de alto nível da União Europeia para a América Latina (ALBAN), especialização na Fundação Getulio Vargas no Brasil e graduação em Engenharia pelo Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia no Brasil. Foi bolsista da UNESCO e trabalhou em projetos de adaptação climática e smart city na Polônia como pesquisador no Departamento de Proteção Ambiental na Universidade Nicolaus Copérnico na cidade de Torun. Revisor do Journal Bulletin of Geography, Revista Ecological Questions, Revista Ambiencia e Papeles de Geografía. Durante os últimos anos têm se dedicado a pesquisa com riscos climáticos e estratégias de adaptação, resultando em trabalhos publicados em periódicos e eventos científicos. Com experiência nas áreas de geociências, ciências exatas e da Terra, diagnóstico ambiental do meio físico, prevenção de desastres naturais, riscos naturais, mudanças do clima e ecologia. Participando na elaboração do Tokyo Statement 2017' durante o Fórum Internacional de Desastres Naturais no Japão.

International PhD in Tropical Ecology with honorable mention by the University of Alicante (UA) in Spain, with a sandwich period at the Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) in Germany, a Master in Energy and Environmental Management from the University of Aveiro (Portugal) in Portugal under research fellowship of the European Union's high-level scholarship program for Latin America (ALBAN), specialization at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FVG) in Brazil and a degree in Engineering from Instituto Mauá of Technology in Brazil.Received a scholarship from UNESCO and worked on climate adaptation and smart city projects in Poland as a researcher at the Department of Environmental Protection at Nicolaus Copernicus University in the city of Torun.Reviewer of the Journal Bulletin of Geography, Ecological Questions Magazine, Ambience Magazine and Geography Papers. Researcher at RIMAS (International Network of Studies on Environment and Sustainability), a multidisciplinary network that brings together researchers from 23 universities in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Portugal and Spain.During the last years they have been dedicated to research with climatic risks in rural landscapes, resulting in works published in periodicals and scientific events. With experience in geosciences, exact sciences and the Earth, environmental diagnosis of the physical environment, prevention of natural disasters, natural hazards, climate changes and ecology. Participating in the elaboration of the Tokyo Statement 2017 'during the International Forum on Natural Disasters in Japan.
