Lázaro Rocha Oliveira

Professor at Federal University of Maranhão, holds a Master of Science degree in Movement Pedagogy from University of São Paulo. Volunteer educator at the Projeto Porta Aberta (Capão Redondo, outskirts of São Paulo). My interests focus on the interface of the areas of Education and Physical Education. My research lines intersect discourse analysis and sociocultural dimensions of human body movement. I'm especially interested in the topics of Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations and Martial Arts as technologies for human development.
