Jorge Henrique Barro

Graduated in Theology from the North Presbyterian Seminary, Recife (1987), Master's (1997) and Ph.D. (2001) in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California (USA). Former President of the Latin American Theological Fraternity (Continental). He is a professor at the South American Theological Seminary and the current Executive General Director. He was evaluator of MEC-INEP for courses in Theology, having evaluated 50 theological institutions. He has experience in the area of ​​Theology, with an emphasis on Missiology and Pastoral Theology in the urban context, working mainly on the following topics: urban mission, mission of the church with the city, integral mission and pastoral ministry. He was a member of the Steering Committee of the Brazilian Evangelical Christian Alliance, which is an organization that seeks the unity of the Brazilian Evangelical Christian Church. He is a member of the Steering Committee of AMRI (Alliance of Researchers and Mission Institutions), since the beginning of its organization, in 2019. His Doctorate course held in the USA was APOSTILLED by the Superior School of Theology (EST), in São Leopoldo/RS, registered under n. 0269, pages 045-v, from book PG 12. As of August 22, 2002, the date of the APOSTILLE, he began to enjoy all the rights and prerogatives granted by the laws of the Republic. He is the author and organizer of 14 books. Tem experiência na área de Teologia, com ênfase em Missiologia e Teologia Pastoral no contexto urbano, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: missão urbana, missão da igreja com a cidade, missão integral e ministério pastoral. Seu curso de Doutorado realizado nos EUA foi APOSTILADO pela Escola Superior de Teologia (EST), de São Leopoldo/RS, registrado sob o n. 0269, fls. 045-v, do livro PG 12. A partir do dia 22 de agosto de 2002, data da APOSTILA, passou a gozar de todos os direitos e prerrogativas concedidas pelas leis da República. É autor e organizador de 14 livros. Foi membro do Comitê Diretico da Aliança Cristã Evangélica Brasileira, que é uma organização que busca a unidade da igreja cristã-evangelica brasileira.
