Marta Mencarini Guimarães

Marta Mencarini Guimarães (1982), nasceu, reside e trabalha em Brasília-DF. Desenvolve pesquisas sobre feminismos e maternagem na arte contemporânea. Tem experiência na área de artes, transitando pela história da arte, pintura, fotografia, performance, intervenção urbana, arte tecnologia e vídeo. Doutoranda em Arte pela Universidade de Brasília UnB, na linha de Poéticas Transversais com bolsa CAPES, orientação Bia Medeiros (UnB) e co-orientação Silvana Macedo (UDESC). Possui Mestrado em Arte e Tecnologia pela Universidade de Brasília UnB (2010), Bacharelado em Artes Visuais pela Universidade de Brasília UnB (2007) e Licenciatura em Artes Visuais pelo Centro Universitário Claretiano CUC (2018). Marta Mencarini Guimarães is a PhD student in Art from the University of Brasília UnB, in the line of Transversal Poetics with CAPES scholarship under the guidance of Profa. Dra. Maria Beatriz de Medeiros. He holds a Master's Degree in Art and Technology from the University of Brasília UnB (2010), a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Brasília UnB (2007) and a Degree in Visual Arts from the Centro Universitário Claretiano CUC (2018). Develops research on feminisms and motherhood in contemporary art. He has experience in the arts, moving through the history of art, painting, photography, performance, urban intervention, art technology and video. Substitute / visiting professor at the IDA Arts Institute, VIS Visual Arts Department at the University of Brasília UnB (2019 - 2020).
