Simone Marchesi

Consegui o Bacharelado em Matemáticas (2006) e Mestrado em Matemáticas (2008) na Università degli Studi di Milano (Itália). Obtive o Doutorado em Matemáticas no 2012 na Università degli Studi di Milano em cotutela com a Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Espanha), sob a orientação do Prof. Enrique Arrondo Esteban e do Prof. Antônio Lanteri e defendo a tese ?Jumping spaces in Steiner bundles?. No 2012 ganhei uma bolsa post-doutoral da Fapesp e mudei para a Unicamp. Desde 2014 ocupando a posição de Professor Doutor na Unicamp. A minha pesquisa se concentra sobre o estudo e a classificação de fibrados vetoriais sobre variedades projetivas.

I obtained my Bachelor Degree in Mathematics (2006) and Master in Mathematics (2008) at the Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy). I obtained my PhD in Mathematics (2012) at the Università degli Studi di Milano together with the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), under the supervision of Prof. Enrique Arrondo Esteban and Prof. Antonio Lanteri, defending the theses "Jumping spaces in Steiner bundles". In 2012 I obtained a Fapesp post-doc grant and moved to Unicamp. Since June 2014 professor at Unicamp. My research focus on the study and classification of vector bundles over projective varieties.
