Heloisa Marceliano Nunes

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Pará (1979), master of science in Tropical Diseases at the Federal University of Pará (2005) and PhD in biology of infectious agents and Parasitological Universidade Federal do Pará (2016). He is currently researcher section chief of Hepatology, Evandro Chagas Institute (IEC), Secretariat of Science, Technology, Innovation and Strategic Inputs, Ministry of health; is member of the laboratory for Quality control, diagnosis and Clinical Monitoring of the laboratory tests for HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections (CALAB); Permanent Professor of the post-graduation program in Virology from the IEC. Has experience in the field of Medicine, with emphasis on Hepatology, working mainly on the following topics: viral hepatitis A, B, C, D and e, prevalence, incidence and Amazon; Hydatidosis.

Possui graduação em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Pará (1979), mestrado em Doenças Tropicais pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2005) e doutorado em Biologia de Agentes Infecciosos e Parasitários pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2016). Atualmente exerce a função de médica chefe da Seção de Hepatologia, do Instituto Evandro Chagas, da Secretaria de Ciência, Tecnologia, Inovação e Insumos Estratégicos (SCTIE), do Ministério da Saúde. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Medicina, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: hepatites virais A, B, C, D e E, prevaL~encia e ncidência na Amazônia, e em Hidatidose.
