André Antônio Ballestreri

Master in Forestry, concentration area: forestry, by the Postgraduate Program in Forestry Engineering (PPGEF) at the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM, has a degree in Foreign Trade from the Faculty of International Technology - FATEC, Administration from the Integrated Faculty of Araguatins - FAIARA and Forestry Engineering from the Federal Rural University of the Amazon - UFRA / Campus Paragominas, post-graduated in Master in Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management from the International University Center - UNINTER. He participated in the Forest Science Research Group in the Amazon and as a fellow in the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC). Member of the Forestry and Forest Nursery Laboratory at UFSM, researches research in the field of Silviculture, with an emphasis on seeds and seedlings, formation of stands of native forest species in southern Brazil, enrichment, recovery and altered areas. He is currently a visiting professor at the Faculty of Higher Education of Paragominas - FACESP, in the Administration course.

Mestre em Engenharia Florestal, área de concentração: silvicultura, pelo programa de Pós Graduação em Engenharia Florestal (PPGEF) da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria - UFSM, possui graduação em Comércio Exterior pela Faculdade de Tecnologia Internacional - FATEC, Administração pela Faculdade Integrada de Araguatins - FAIARA e Engenharia Florestal pela Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia - UFRA/Campus Paragominas, pós graduado em Master in Business Administration (MBA) em Gestão de Recursos Humanos pelo Centro Universitário Internacional - UNINTER. Participou do Grupo de Pesquisa Ciências Florestais na Amazônia e como bolsista do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Cientifica (PIBIC). Membro do Laboratório de Silvicultura e Viveiro Florestal da UFSM, desenvolve pesquisas na área de Silvicultura, com ênfase em sementes e mudas, formação de povoamentos de espécies florestais nativas do Sul do Brasil, enriquecimento e recuperação de áreas alteradas. Atualmente é professor visitante da Faculdade de Educação Superior de Paragominas - FACESP, no curso de Administração.
