Master's degree in Genetics (2017) from the Institute of Biosciences at the University of São Paulo, with practical work conducted at the Muscle Proteins and Comparative Histopathology Lab of the Center for Human Genome Studies and Stem Cells at the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo. Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2014). Was an undergraduate scholarship recipient of the Science Without Borders program (CNPq), studying Biological Sciences at the University of Birmingham (England - United Kingdom) from January to December 2013. Interned at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics in the lab of Prof. Matthew Wood at the University of Oxford (England - United Kingdom) from June to September 2013.
