Graduada em Serviço Social pela Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (1985), Mestre (2001) e Doutora (2015) em Serviço Social pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo PUCSP, participa como pesquisadora convidada do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre a Criança e o Adolescente com ênfase no Sistema de Garantia de Direitos - NCASGD-PUCSP (coord. Eunice Fávero). Trabalhou como Assistente Social no Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de São Paulo de 1993 a 2022 e passou a atuar como perita em Serviço Social particular, cadastrada no banco de perícias do TJSP.
Docente desde 2002, em cursos de graduação e pós-graduação em Serviço Social. Realiza cursos, oficinas e supervisões sobre a elaboração de estudos e perícias em Serviço Social, relatórios, pareceres e laudos em Tribunais de Justiça de vários estados brasileiros.
A partir da experiência de trabalho com família, infância e juventude na área sociojurídica, vem realizando estudos, pesquisas, publicações e consultorias sobre a convivência familiar e comunitária, o sistema de garantia de direitos e as particularidades do trabalho do assistente social nessa área. Destacam-se entre essas ações, a coordenação da pesquisa sobre as instituições de acolhimento de crianças e adolescentes realizada na cidade de São Paulo em 2004, a publicação "Quero voltar para casa: o trabalho em rede e a garantia do direito à convivência familiar e comunitária para crianças e adolescentes que vivem em abrigos", AASPTJSP, 2007, o livro Serviço Social na Justiça de Família: demandas contemporâneas do exercício profissional (em parceria), Cortez (2019);o livro Perícia em Serviço Social (em parceria), Papel Social (2021) e a publicação Registros da Opinião Técnica, CFESS, 2022 (em parceria).
Graduated in Social Work from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (1985), Master (2001) and Doctor (2015) in Social Work from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo PUCSP, she participates as a guest researcher at the Center for Studies and Research on Children and Adolescents with emphasis on the Rights Guarantee System - NCASGD-PUCSP (coord. Eunice Fávero). She worked as a Social Worker at the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo from 1993 to 2022. She has been a teacher since 2002, in undergraduate and graduate courses in Social Work. She conducts courses, workshops and supervisions on the elaboration of studies and expertise in Social Work, reports, opinions and reports in Courts of Justice of several Brazilian states.
Based on her experience of working with family, children and youth in the socio-legal area, she has been carrying out studies, research, publications and consultancy on family and community coexistence, the system of guaranteeing rights and the particularities of the social worker's work in this area. Among these actions, the coordination of research on institutions for children and adolescents carried out in the city of São Paulo in 2004, the publication "I want to return home: networking and guaranteeing the right to family and community for children and adolescents living in shelters", AASPTJSP, 2007, the book Social Service in Family Justice: contemporary demands of professional practice (in partnership), Cortez (2019) and the book Perícia em Serviço Social (in partnership), Papel Social (2021).
