Patricia Ramos Cury

Possui graduação em Odontologia pela Faculdade de Odontologia de Bauru (USP), mestrado e doutorado em Clínicas Odontológicas Área de Periodontia pela Faculdade de Odontologia de Piracicaba (UNICAMP), com destaque para doutorado sanduiche na University of Alabama in Birmigham (USA), e pós-doutorado em Patologia Bucal pela Faculdade de Odontologia (USP). Atualmente, é assessor científico do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico, Professor Associado III da Universidade Federal da Bahia, e docente permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação em Odontologia e Saúde da UFBA e docente colaboradora do Programa de Doutorado em Biotecnologia Rede Nordeste de Biotecnologia (RENORBIO). Tem experiência na área de Odontologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: epidemiologia, fatores de risco, diagnóstico e etiopatogênese das doenças bucais, com projetos de pesquisa financiados pelo CNPq e FAPESB. Publicou mais de 130 artigos científicos e tem 93 orientações concluídas, sendo 32 de Iniciação Científica, 27 de mestrado e 6 de doutorado, além de 15 orientações em andamento.

She holds a degree in Dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry of Bauru (USP), Master's and Doctorate in Dental Clinics Area of Periodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba (UNICAMP), with emphasis on sandwich doctorate at the University of Alabama in Birmigham (USA), and postgraduate -PhD in Oral Pathology from the Faculty of Dentistry (USP). Currently, he is a scientific advisor to the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Bahia, and permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Dentistry and Health at UFBA and collaborating professor of the Doctoral Program in Biotechnology - Northeast Network of Biotechnology (RENORBIO). He has experience in Dentistry, with an emphasis on Periodontics, working mainly on the following topics: epidemiology, diagnosis and etiopathogenesis of oral diseases, with research projects funded by CNPq and FAPESB. He has published more than 120 scientific articles and has 32 completed Scientific Initiation orientations, 27 master's and 6 doctoral, in addition to 14 ongoing orientations.
