Janaina Lombello Santos Donadio

Graduated in Nutrition by FSP/USP (2007), Masters (2011) and PhD by FCF/USP (2016). International internship in Newcastle University, UK (2014-2015). Postdoctoral in Genetic Epidemiology of Cancer at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC, 2017). Currently is postdoctoral researcher investigating the effect of fibers from papaya in the development of colon cancer (FORC/USP), with international internship at University of Maryland School of Medicine (2022), investigating the inflammatory modulation of papaya pectins in intestinal organoids.

Possui graduação em Nutrição pela FSP/USP (2007), mestrado em Ciências dos Alimentos pela FCF/USP(2011) e doutorado em Ciências dos Alimentos pela FCF/USP com período sanduíche em Newcastle University, UK (2016). Pós-doutorado em Epidemiologia Genética do Câncer pela University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC, USA 2017). Atualmente é pesquisadora de pós-doutorado investigando o efeito de fibras alimentares extraídas do mamão papaia no desenvolvimento do câncer de cólon no FORC (Food Research Center), com estágio no exterior na University of Maryland School of Medicine, investigando os efeitos anti-inflamatórios das pectinas no mamão papaia em organoides intestinais.
