Daniel Kühner Coelho

Daniel Kühner Coelho holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the UFF, Graduated degree in Environmental Management from the UGF, Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the UFCG and Doctor?s degree in Energy Planning from the UFRJ, in course. He has been working for around 20 years as a consultant or manager in the areas of renewable energy and agricultural and environmental engineering, with companies such as Petrobras, Embrapa, PBIO, University of Panama, ITERJ and EPE.Still at age 21, Daniel was elected President of the Brazilian Union of Students of Agricultural Engineering (UBEEAGRI), where he worked mainly for the technical and social development of the institution and for the coordination of XX CONEEAGRI.At the Petrobras Research Center (CENPES), he was a Visiting Researcher and Technical Consultant and worked on water treatment and reuse and biodiesel production projects. During this period, he also represented the company with the Reuse Task Group of the Technical Chamber of the National Council of Water Resources, of the Brazilian Ministry of Environment, in the elaboration of Resolution nº 121 of November 16, 2010, which established the guidelines and criteria for the practice of non-potable direct reuse of water in agriculture and forestry.His professional experiences give him invitations to teach lectures and courses in Brazil and abroad. He was a professor at UGF, where he taught the module "Natural Resources and Energy Conservation" in the Specialization in Environmental Management. For more than 4 years, he directed ConsultBio, a company of Projects, Consultancy and Technical Assistance in Bioenergy.After 10 years in Petrobras, he was an Agricultural Development Analyst at the Land and Cartography Institute of Rio de Janeiro (ITERJ), where he developed and coordinated agricultural and environmental technology projects for the sustainable development of rural settlements in the state. Currently, Mr. Coelho integrates the technical staff of the Brazilian Energy Research Company - EPE as Energy Research Analyst, where he develops studies and research on energy resources and projections of the Brazilian electricity supply and long-term energy matrix, mainly for the National Energy Plans and the Integrated Energy Information System, SIEnergia; mainly related to bioenergy.

Graduado em Engenharia Agrícola pela UFF, Especialista em Gestão Ambiental pela UGF e Mestre em Engenharia Agrícola pela UFCG e Doutorando em Planejamento Energético pela UFRJ/COPPE, Daniel Kühner Coelho atua a mais de 15 anos como consultor e gestor nas áreas de energias renováveis e de engenharia agrícola e ambiental, junto a empresas ou entidades como a Petrobras, Embrapa, PBIO, Universidad de Panamá, ITERJ e EPE. Aos 21 anos, Daniel foi eleito Presidente da União Brasileira dos Estudantes de Engenharia Agrícola (UBEEAGRI), aonde atuou principalmente no fomento e desenvolvimento técnico e social da instituição e na coordenação e produção do XX CONEEAGRI. Mestre, atuou como Pesquisador Visitante e Consultor Técnico junto ao Centro de Pesquisas da Petrobras em projetos de tratamento e reúso de água e produção de biodiesel, tendo representando a empresa junto ao GT de Reúso da Câmara Técnica do CNRH, no MMA, na elaboração da Resolução nº 121, de 16/11/2010, que estabelece diretrizes e critérios para a prática de reúso direto não potável de água na modalidade agrícola e florestal, definida na Resolução CNRH nº 54 de 28/11/2005. Por mais de 4 anos, dirigiu a ConsultBio, uma empresa de Projetos, Consultoria e Assistência técnica em Bioenergia. A partir da criação da Petrobras Biocombustível (PBIO), como consultor ou gestor, passou a atuar em projetos de PD&I, suporte técnico e transferência de tecnologia, que visavam o desenvolvimento sustentável de cadeias agroenergéticas da companhia. Suas experiências profissionais lhe proporcionam convites a ministrar palestras e cursos, no Brasil e no exterior. Foi professor da UGF, aonde ministrou o módulo ?Recursos Naturais e Conservação de Energia? na Especialização em Gestão Ambiental. Após 10 anos dedicados à Petrobras, aprovado em 2º lugar como Analista de Desenvolvimento Agrário do ITERJ, desenvolveu e coordenou projetos de tecnologia agrícola e ambiental para desenvolvimento sustentável de assentamentos rurais no estado. Há 5 anos, integra o corpo técnico da Empresa de Pesquisa Energética - EPE como Analista de Pesquisa Energética em a estudos e pesquisas relacionadas a recursos energéticos, projeções da oferta de eletricidade e da matriz energética brasileira no longo prazo, e no desenvolvimento do Sistema Integrado de Informações para Energia, SIEnergia; sobretudo em bioenergia.
