Alysson Hautsch Oikawa

Bachelor of Law Degree from the Federal University of Paraná (2001), Bachelor Degree in Social Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (2000) and Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2003). Partner COO of the law firm Baril Advogados, where he also coordinates the Intellectual Property Department. Appointed member to the Designs Committee of the International Trademark Association - INTA, member of the Intellectual Property Committee and of the Digital Law and Data Protection Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association - State of Paraná Section. Adjunct Professor in Post-graduation courses at FAE Business School, ABDConst and Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. Has experience in the areas of Communication and Law, with emphasis in Intellectual Property, practicing namely in the following subjects: Copyright Law, Trademark Law, Patent Law, Unfair Competition, Right of Publicity, Communications Law and Internet Law. Tutor of many courses related to those subjects, with various published articles.

Possui graduação em Direito pela Universidade Federal do Paraná - UFPR (2001), graduação em Comunicação Social pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná - PUCPR (2000) e mestrado em Direito pela University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2003), EUA (título revalidado pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC). É advogado, sócio Diretor de Operações do escritório Baril Advogados, no qual também coordena o Núcleo de Propriedade Intelectual. Membro do Comitê de Desenhos Industriais da International Trademark Association- INTA, da Comissão de Propriedade Intelectual da OAB-PR, e da Comissão de Direito Digital e Proteção de Dados da mesma OAB-PR. Professor convidado de Cursos de Pós-graduação na FAE Business School, na ABDConst, e na PUCPR. Tem experiência nas áreas de Comunicação e de Direito, com ênfase em Propriedade Intelectual, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Direitos Autorais, Marcas, Patentes, Concorrência Desleal, Direitos de Personalidade, Direito da Comunicação, e Direito e Internet. Tutor de cursos relacionados a esses temas, com diversos artigos publicados.
