Michael Andrade Maedo

Michael Maedo received his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the São Paulo State University (UNESP) in 2012 and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from TAMU in 2019. He is currently Assistant Professor at Federal University of Uberlândia. In 2018, he was one of the recipient of the 2018-19 Energy Institute Fellowship and in 2019 he received the Departmental Fellowship Award from the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering due to his academic achievement.He is an experienced researcher experience who has been working with Coupled Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical-Chemical Analysis in Porous Media.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela UNESP/Bauru (2012), mestrado em Engenharia Mecânica pela UNESP/Bauru (2015) e doutorado (Ph.D) em Engenharia Civil pela Texas A&M University (2019). Atualmente é Professor da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). Em 2018, foi premiado com a Texas A&M Energy Institute Graduate Fellowship, a qual é conferida a seletos alunos de doutorado que desenvolvem pesquisa de excelência na área de energia; em 2019 foi premiado com a Departmental Fellowship Award pelo Departamento Zachry de Engenharia Civil da Texas A&M University em razão de seu excelente desempenho acadêmico e durante esse período foi presidente da Texas A&M University Chapter of Geo-Institute. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Civil, com ênfase em Análise Acoplada Termo-Hidro-Mecânica e Química em Meios Porosos.
