(EEL/USP 2001-05, FAPESP), e Pós-Doutorado (2006-2009, apoio FCT/Gov. Portugal) em Eng. Química/Biológica no Centro de Eng. Biológica da Univ. do Minho UMINHO/Portugal, possui interações com diferentes pesquisadores nacionais/internacionais ao longo de sua trajetória. Com experiência > 15 anos, Daniel possui vínculo formal como Prof. Associado, no Centro de Ciências Exatas e Tecnologia na Univ. Federal de Sergipe. Quanto ao Qualis/Capes 2017-2020, 80 em Qualis A/B, destes 79 entre A1/A4 com 70 entre Qualis A1/A2 para o Quinq. e 60 para o Dec. Em relação as premiações, destaca-se o 1lugar na Premiação Nacional do CNPq como melhor projeto orientado PIBITI em 2017 [área Ciências Exatas, da Terra e Engenharias], além de diversas outras premiações. Referente as suas Atividades de Transferência de Tecnologia para o Setor Privado/Público_ possui em seu histórico ações relacionadas em contratos de parceria e envolvimento em iniciativas para Transferência de Tecnologia, bem como interações com diferentes empresas regionais (e.g. Sergiquímica Ind. de Aditivos/Serviços; Agropecuária Santa Sara; Cooperativa COOPAIBA; SergiSucos; e Instituto de Tecnologia e Pesquisa, entre outras).
