As a TEACHER, has worked at UNIMONTE - Centro Universitário Monte Serrat - since 1997. From 1997 to 2010, was responsible for the following subjects at the Language Arts Course: English Language, British Literature, American Literature, English Teaching Methodology. From 2007 to 2013, as the English Professor at the Oil and Gas Technology Course, was responsible for the English for Specific Purposes disciplines (ESP): ESP-Geology, ESP-Oceanography, ESP-Petroleum Prospection, and ESP-Petroleum Engineering. Since 2012, has been responsible for the English for Specific Purposes disciplines (ESP) at the Geology Course: ESP-Origins of the Earth, ESP-Air, Water, and Life on Earth, ESP-Acclimatization and Sedimentary Processes, ESP-Volcanism, ESP- Metamorphism, ESP-Natural Resources, ESP-Mineral Prospection, and ESP-Economic Geology. As a TRANSLATOR, has worked on documentaries for the National Geographic Channel - NATGEO - and higher education course books for CENGAGE LEARNING. Mestre em Língua Inglesa e Literaturas Inglesa e Norte-americana pela USP - Universidade de São Paulo, 2001. Licenciada em Letras, pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, 1979. Bacharel em Tradução, pela Universidade Católica de Santos, 1994. Professora desde 1983, lecionou em cursos livres como professora de língua inglesa e também em escolas do Ensino Fundamental e Médio. No Ensino Superior atua desde 1991. Professora do Centro Universitário Monte Serrat - UNIMONTE desde 1997, foi responsável pelas disciplinas: Língua Inglesa, Literatura Inglesa, Literatura Norte-americana, Metodologia do Ensino de Língua Inglesa no Curso de Letras. Inglês Instrumental Aplicado à Geologia, Inglês Instrumental Aplicado à Oceanografia, Inglês Instrumental Aplicado à Prospecção de Petróleo, Inglês Instrumental Aplicado à Engenharia do Petróleo no curso de Tecnologia em Petróleo e Gás. Atualmente é responsável pelas disciplinas Inglês Instrumental - Gênese da Terra, Inglês Instrumental - Dinâmica da Crosta, Inglês Instrumental - Ar, Água e Vida no Planeta, Inglês Instrumental - Aclimatação e Processo Sedimentar, Inglês Instrumental - Vulcanismo, Inglês Instrumental Metamorfismo, Inglês Instrumental - Recursos Naturais, Inglês Instrumental - Prospecção Mineral e Inglês Instrumental - Geologia Econômica, no Curso de Geologia. Também atuou na área de tradução de documentários para televisão (National Geographic Channel - NATGEO) e de livros didáticos para o ensino superior (CENGAGE LEARNING).
