Doutoranda em História pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Mestra em História pela Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS). Especialista em Direitos Humanos e Contemporaneidade pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). Licenciada em História pela Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB). Professora substituta nos cursos de bacharelado e licenciatura em História na Universidade Federal do Oeste da Bahia (UFOB) e professora efetiva de História pela Secretaria de Educação do Estado da Bahia (SEC-BA). Desenvolve pesquisa na área de história social e cultural dos sertões, com ênfase no estudo das relações de gênero e história das mulheres entre os séculos XIX e XX. Integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa Nina Simone / UEFS.

She develops research in the area of social and cultural history of the sertões, with emphasis on the study of gender relations and women's history between the 19th and 20th centuries.
