Bruno Alexander Nunes Silva

Undergraduated in Animal Science from the Federal University of Viçosa - UFV, Master in animal bioclimatology from the Federal University of Viçosa - UFV, PhD in bioclimatology and swine nutrition from the Federal University of Viçosa - UFV and the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique - INRA (France) and postdoctoral fellow in Swine Nutrition at the Federal University of Viçosa ? UFV. He was a researcher in swine nutrition at the Institute for Pig Genetics-IPG (The Netherlands), TOPIGS Research Center IPG (The Netherlands) and global manager of swine nutrition at TOPIGS International. He was also coordinator of the research and development program in swine nutrition at TOPIGS (Netherlands). He is currently a professor and researcher in swine nutrition and production, animal bioclimatology and Monogastric Nutrition at the Federal University of Minas Gerais ? UFMG. He is associate editor of the international scientific journal ?Animal: An International Journal of Animal Bioscience? and reviewer of several international A1 journals. Develops research in the areas of nutritional requirements and environmental adaptation of swine in tropical regions. He works in scientific research partnerships with several multinational companies and institutions in the field of swine nutrition in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Zootecnista formado pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), Mestre em bioclimatologia animal pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), doutor em bioclimatologia e nutrição de suínos pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV) e pelo Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRAE, França) e pós doutorado em Nutrição de suínos pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). Foi pesquisador em nutrição de suínos do Institute for Pig Genetics (IPG, Holanda), TOPIGS Research Center IPG (Holanda) e gerente global de nutrição de suínos da TOPIGS Internacional. Também foi coordenador do programa de pesquisa e desenvolvimento em nutrição de suínos da TOPIGS (Holanda). Atualmente é professor e pesquisador em nutrição e produção de suínos, bioclimatologia animal e Nutrição de Monogástricos pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais UFMG. É editor associado do periódico cientifico internacional Animal An International Journal of Animal Bioscience e revisor de diversos periódicos internacionais A1. Desenvolve pesquisas nas nas áreas de exigências nutricionais e ambiência de suínos em regiões de clima tropical. Atua em parcerias de pesquisa cientifica com diversas multinacionais e instituições na área de nutrição de suínos nas Américas, Europa e Asia.
