Cynthia Macedo Dias

Graduated in Social Communication - Journalism (2006) and Social Communication - Cinema by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2008), Master in Design by PUC-Rio (2013) and PhD in Design by PUC-Rio (2020). She is currently a public health technologist and works as a researcher at the Center for Educational Health Technologies (NUTED) at the Joaquim Venâncio Polytechnic School of Health (EPSJV / FIOCRUZ). She is part of the Research Groups "Design in Reading of Subjects and Supports in Interaction" (PUC-Rio) and "Games and Health" (FIOCRUZ). She has experience in the areas of Audiovisual Education and Industrial Design with an emphasis on Design in Reading, working mainly on the following themes: culture and interaction, game design, games, educational technologies and audiovisual education.

Possui graduação em Comunicação Social - Jornalismo (2006) e Comunicação Social - Cinema pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2008), mestrado em Design pela PUC-Rio (2013) e doutorado em Design pela PUC-Rio (2020). Atualmente é tecnologista em saúde pública e atua como professora-pesquisadora do Núcleo de Tecnologias Educacionais em Saúde (NUTED) da Escola Politécnica de Saúde Joaquim Venâncio (EPSJV/FIOCRUZ). Integra os Grupos de Pesquisa Design na Leitura de Sujeitos e Suportes em Interação (PUC-Rio) e Jogos e Saúde (FIOCRUZ). Tem experiência nas áreas de Educação Audiovisual e Desenho Industrial com ênfase em Design na Leitura, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cultura e interação, design de jogos, jogos, tecnologias educacionais e educação audiovisual.
