Alexandra Gabriela Onofre de Abreu Ribeiro Gonçalves

ALEXANDRA GONÇALVES holds a Phd degree in Communication and Semiotics - Pontificia Universidade Católica of São Paulo, (PUCSP Brazil) (2020). During the 2017-2020 period she was a CNPq Scholarship. In 2017, she held a teaching internship in the Graduate Program, in the Communication and Multimedia Course-Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, (PUCSP Brazil). From the period 2016 to the present she is researcher in Space-Visuality/ Communication-Culture (ESPACC) of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, (PUCSP Brazil). She holds a Masters in Arts from the University of the Arts, London (Camberwell College of Arts-Drawing) (2005 / 6-2007) and Graduation in Sculpture from the ARCA-EUAC of the University of Coimbra (2005). She has experience in Education, both in teaching at Elementary Education and at Higher Education. During the period 2010/2012 she was a professor of the Master's Course in Artistic Animation, in the areas of: Aesthetics of Contemporary Arts, Design in Artistic Creation Processes I and II, and the Seminar Course Module, at Instituto Superior Politécnico de Castelo Branco. Until 2015, she taught private drawing classes. She is a visual artist. She researches about Image, Image Theories, Artificial Community, Languages. Artistic training, contact with different cultural spaces, creative exploration and research in Image Theories, have contributed to the elaboration of a thought about Image.

ALEXANDRA GONÇALVES possui doutorado em Comunicação e Semiótica ? Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, (PUCSP Brasil) (2020). Durante o período de 2016-2020 foi Bolsista do CNPq. Em 2017 Realiza estágio de docência no Programa de Graduação, no Curso Comunicação e Multimeios Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, (PUCSP Brasil). Desde o período de 2016 até à atualidade pertence ao Grupo de Pesquisa Espaço-Visualidade/Comunicação-Cultura (ESPACC) da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, (PUCSP Brasil). Possui mestrado em Artes pela University of the Arts, London (Camberwell College of Arts-Drawing) (2005/6-2007) e graduação em Escultura pela ARCA-EUAC da Universidade de Coimbra (2005). Tem experiência na área da Educação, quer na lecionação no Ensino Básico, quer no Ensino Superior. Durante o período 2010/2012 foi docente do Curso de Mestrado em Animação Artística, nas Áreas de: Estética das Artes Contemporâneas, Desenho em Processos de Criação Artística I e II, e o Módulo do curso de Seminário - Instituto Superior Politécnico de Castelo Branco (Portugal). Ministrou sempre até 2015 aulas privadas de desenho. É artista Plástica. Investiga na área da Imagem, Teorias da Imagem, Comunidade Artificial, Linguagens. A formação artística, o contacto com diferentes espaços culturais, a exploração criativa e sua pesquisa no campo das Teorias da Imagem têm contribuído para a elaboração de um pensamento sobre a Imagem.
