Tatiana de Almeida Freitas Rodrigues Cardoso Squeff

Holds a professorship at the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU, lecturing on the Pos-Graduate level at the Program in Laws (LLM) and on the Graduate level in the B.A. in Laws and International Relations. Professor at the International Relations Master's Program at the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM. She is an appointed as Expert to the Hague Conference on Private Internacional Law - HCCH by the Brazilian Ministry of Justice, though the National Secretary on Consumer Issues - SENACON. She is currently a Post-Doctoral fellow in fundamental rights and guarantees at Faculdade de Direito de Vitória, Brazil. She is a PhD in International Law at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, with a study period at Ottawa University. She holds a LLM from the Vale do Rio dos Sinos University - UNISINOS, with a CAPES scholarship, with a study period at the University of Toronto, with a DFAIT scholarship. She holds post-graduate degrees in the English Language from Unilasalle (2008), in International Law from UFRGS - PPGD, in Contemporary International Relations from UFRGS - PPGEEI, and in Human Rights from the University of Coimbra (Portgual). She is a member of ASADIP. She is also a researcher at NETI/USP. She has international experience in the areas of Public International Law (Hague Academy - 2013, 2017, 2019 - this one with a scholarship from the Academy-, and 2022), Private International Law (Hague Academy, 2021 - this one with a FAU Scholarship), North American Law (Fordham University), Humanitarian Law (Harvard University), international economic institutions (New York University), and Refugee Law (York University). She is the coordinator of the Legal Clinic for Migrants at UFU, the Moot Court Group and the Research Group in International Law. Her research interests are in the following fields of study: public and private international law, human rights, sustainability critical theory and International Consumption.
