Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Direito do Instituto de Ciências Humanas e Sociais (ICHS) da Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF/VR) e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Bioética, Ética Aplicada e Saúde Coletiva - PPGBIOS (programa em Associação UFRJ/FIOCRUZ/UERJ/UFF). Membro do Laboratório de Bioética Clínica (NUBEA-UFRJ). Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa em Direito e Bioética Clínica (UFF). Membro da Sociedade Brasileira de Bioética (SBB).
