Leandro Faber Lopes

Doutorando em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP - Campus Rio Claro (SP), Área de Concentração Organização do Espaço, Linha de Pesquisa Ensino de Geografia, Cartografia e Cartografia Escolar. Mestre em Geografia pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2008). Possui Graduação em Geografia pela Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (2002). É membro do grupo de pesquisa Núcleo de Ensino de Geografia e Didática ? NEGED/CNPq, vinculado ao Departamento de Geografia da UNESP de Rio Claro (SP). É Professor do Ensino Básico, Técnico e Tecnológico no Colégio de Aplicação João XXIII/UFJF. Participa de projetos culturais nas áreas de Fotografia e de Cinema, com mostras fotográficas no Brasil e na Turquia, além da produção de um documentário para o cinema. Tem experiência nas seguintes áreas: Geografia Escolar, Ensino de Geografia e Fotografia.
Graduated in Geography in the modality Degree from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2002) and Master in Geography from the Fluminense Federal University (2008). Since graduation, he has worked mainly as a teacher at the Basic School. He currently holds the position of Professor of Basic, Technical and Technological Education at the João XXIII College of Application, Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), under exclusive dedication - 40 hours. From 2002 to 2010, he taught geography in the private and public networks (municipal and state) in the city of Juiz de Fora. From 2003 to 2005, she worked in Higher Education, teaching for undergraduate courses in Geography, History and Tourism, teaching the following subjects: Cartography, Thematic Cartography, Fundamentals of Climatology, Geology, History of Geographic Thought and World Space Organization. During graduation, she worked in the Monitoring Program in the Department of Geosciences of the Institute of Humanities and Letters / UFJF (current ICH), in the disciplines of Geology and Pedology. Also as an undergraduate, he participated between 2001 and 2002 as a scholarship holder of the PROBIC - FAPEMIG program in the Cartography and Geoprocessing Project Applied to the Environmental Zoning of the Ibitipoca and Arredores State Park (MG); and between 2002 and 2003 participated as a scholarship holder of the PIBIC / CNPq / UFJF program in the Family Health project in the Juiz de Fora Regional Directorate: an assessment of child health through a geographic information system. He has extra-curricular training in the Sustainability Design course, offered by the Gaia Institute of Education in Rio de Janeiro (2012). He held the administrative position as High School Coordinator at the João XXIII / UFJF College of Application from 2012 to 2014 and currently holds the position of Deputy Chief of the Human Sciences Department at the same institution. Between 2010 and 2012, he was a member of the commission to prepare the Geography Curriculum of the Juiz de Fora Municipal Network. In 2019, he joined the UFJF Teaching Residency Commission, as well as guiding the Residency in Geography at the João XXIII College of Application, where he offers, in partnership with other teachers, the Human Rights discipline for the Specialization course aimed at residents. Since 2012, he participates in cultural projects in the area of ​​Photography, integrating projects and collective and individual photographic exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, as well as producing photographic exhibitions in the cities of Juiz de Fora and Rio de Janeiro. Signs the production direction of the documentary Petals, whose theme is the black female protagonism in the city of Juiz de Fora - MG, in partnership with Producer Zero8onze PhotoCine.
