Anita Lucchesi

Anita Lucchesi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) at the University of Luxembourg (UNILU), where she currently focuses on training and dissemination activities regarding the primary source management software, Tropy. She holds a PhD in History from the University of Luxembourg (UL, Luxembourg, September 2020) and a MA in Comparative History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, Brazil, March 2014), where she earned her Bachelor degree in History (2011). In her PhD, she has developed a research on the theory and method of digital history in the intersection with public history, discussing the epistemological issues emerging from what she defines as ?hermeneutics of practice". The PhD thesis "For a New Hermeneutics of Practice in Digital Public History: Thinkering with memorecord.uni.lu", developed at the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) with support of the Luxembourg National Research Fund has been indicated to the Excellent Thesis Award of the Doctoral School in Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Luxembourg. Lucchesi's interest in digital technologies has been distributed in research and teaching activities since 2008. Among her other affiliations, Lucchesi is member of the Group of Study of the Present Time, and part of the Brazilian Network for Public History and is also a member of the steering committee of the International Federation of Public History. Main research interests: digital history, public history, oral history, memory studies, teaching and scientific dissemination of history.

Anita Lucchesi é pesquisadora em pós-doutorado no Centro de História Contemporânea e Digital (C²DH) da Universidade de Luxemburgo (UNILU), onde atualmente se ocupa de atividades de formação e difusão acerca do software de gerenciamento de fontes primárias Tropy. É doutora em História pela mesma universidade (UNILU, Luxemburgo, Setembro de 2020), com estágio pós-doutoral no Centro de História Contemporânea de Potsdam (ZZF, Potsdam, Alemanha) e tem um mestrado em História Comparada pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, Brasil, Março de 2014), onde também fez Bacharelado e Licenciatura em História (2011). No seu doutoramento, desenvolveu uma investigação sobre teoria e método da história digital em intersecção com a história pública, discutindo as questões epistemológicas emergentes do que ela define como 'hermenêutica da prática'. A tese de doutoramento 'For a New Hermeneutics of Practice in Digital Public History: Thinkering with memorecord.uni.lu', desenvolvida no Centro de História Contemporânea e Digital (C²DH) com o apoio do Fundo Nacional de Investigação do Luxemburgo, foi indicada para o Prêmio de Tese Excelente da Escola de Doutoramento em Humanidades e Ciências Sociais da Universidade do Luxemburgo. Seu interesse pelas tecnologias digitais se desdobra em atividades de investigação e ensino desde 2008. Entre as suas outras afiliações, Lucchesi é membro do Grupo de Estudos do Tempo Presente (GET/UFS), faz parte da Rede Brasileira de História Pública e é também membro do comitê diretor da Federação Internacional de História Pública. Principais interesses de pesquisa: história pública digital, teoria e metodologia da história, história oral, estudos de memória, ensino e divulgação científica da história.
