Vera Lucia Bobrowski

Graduated in Agronomy from the Federal University of Pelotas (1988), master's degree in Sciences from the Federal University of Pelotas (1992) emphasis on Plant Breeding, and doctorate in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002). She is a full professor at the Federal University of Pelotas, where she has worked since 1993. Lines of action: In the area of ​​Genetics, she works mainly on the following themes: induction and evaluation of genetic changes and analysis of genotoxicity of natural products. In the area of ​​Science Education: works in the continuous training of teachers with an emphasis on teaching biology and genetics. In the area of ​​Extension: Activities for the popularization of science and continuing education of science teachers.

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas (1988), mestrado em Ciências pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas (1992) ênfase em Melhoramento Vegetal, e doutorado em Genética e Biologia Molecular pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2002). É professora titular da Universidade Federal de Pelotas, onde atua desde 1993. Linhas de atuação: Na área de Genética, atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: indução e avaliação de alterações genéticas e análise de genotoxicidade de produtos naturais. Na área de Ensino de Biologia: atua na formação continuada de professores com ênfase ao ensino de biologia e genética.
