Germano Aguiar Ferreira

I graduated in Biomedicine from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2005). I completed both Master's and Doctorate degrees by the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Pathogenic Bioagents of FMRP-USP. I have experience in the field of Cellular and Molecular Biology and also Biochemistry. I am currently associated with the Center for Protein Chemistry - Hemocentro of the Hospital das Clínicas of FMRP-USP and the Cancer Proteomics Laboratory of the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology of FMRP-USP. I have experience with the following methodologies: cell culture, functional tests in cell lines using target-specific drugs, fluorescence microscopy, western blotting, two-dimensional electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.

Sou bacharel em Biomedicina pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2005). Fiz Mestrado e Doutorado pelo Depto. de Biologia Celular e Molecular e Bioagentes Patogênicos da FMRP-USP. Tenho experiência na área de Biologia Celular e Molecular, e também Bioquímica. Atualmente estou associado ao Centro de Química de Proteínas ? Hemocentro de Ribeirão Preto / Hospital das Clínicas da FMRP-USP e ao Laboratório Proteômica do Câncer do Depto de Bioquímica e Imunologia da FMRP-USP. Tenho experiência com as as seguintes metodologias: cultura células, testes funcionais em linhagens celulares utilizando drogas alvo-específico, microscopia de fluorescência, western blotting, eletroforese bidimensional e espectrometria de massas.
