Livia de Souza Lima
Graduated in Law from the Centro Universitário newton Paiva (2008), with a Masters in Sociology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG, in the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences - FAFICH / BH, in the area of urban Management And Crime. In the field of teaching, she has experience as a teacher at the POntifícia Universidade Católica of Minas Gerais - PUCMG - Unidade Betim - in the Law program, in which she taught the discipline of Criminal Law IV. At the same institution, she developed a short course for students of the Social Sciences. She has also developed studies in the area of research related mainly to Urban Management and Criminality, acquired during her work as a researcher at the Center for the Study of Crime and Public Security (CRISP / UFMG). She acted as Social Manager of the Vespasiano Crime Prevention Center - CPC. In this center the programs Fica Vivo! And Mediation of Conflicts, both developed from a territorial perspective involving the dynamics of agglomerates, towns and favelas. Mediation focuses on the peaceful resolution of conflicts, guiding users on legal issues, and working on alternative ways of solving bottlenecks. Fica Vivo works with youth, through the execution of sports, culture and leisure workshops, with the main focus being the reduction of homicides in the age group from 12 to 24 years. He also managed the team of the Central Alternativas Penais - CEAPA, also located in the municipality of Vespasiano. In this context, the management is responsible for the political / institutional representation of the programs in the territory, serving as a link between the State Department and Social Defense and the municipality. In addition, it is also responsible for the management of the teams, monitoring the development of the goals of the programs implemented in the scope and articulation of the service network. Fluency in English acquired in student exchange in North America.
Mestre em Sociologia pela UFMG, no Programa de Pós-graduação da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas - FAFICH, na área de concentração de Gestão Urbana e Criminalidade. Graduada em Direito pelo Centro Universitário Newton Paiva (2008). Atuou durante 07 anos na Gestão e acompanhamento dos programas que compõem a política de prevenção à criminalidade do Governo de MG. Atualmente é Supervisora Geral da Política de Prevenção à Criminalidade do Estado. Coordenação de projetos de empoderamento feminino, direitos LGBT+, políticas de igualdade de gênero e combate ao racismo estrutural, tendo como fundo a prevenção e redução de violências incidentes sobre territórios e grupos vulneráveis a esse fenômeno. Expertise em mediação de conflitos, facilitadora de diálogos sociais e práticas de justiça restaurativa.
