Gustavo Carrijo Barbosa

Bacharel em Fisioterapia pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2018). Especialista em Fisioterapia Respiratória e Terapia Intensiva pela Faculdade Metropolitana do Estado de São Paulo (2021). Especialista em Saúde do Trabalhador pela mesma instituição (2023). Mestre em Gerontologia pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Gerontologia da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2021). Doutorado em andamento na área de Ciências da Saúde pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Enfermagem da mesma instituição. Atualmente é docente do curso de Fisioterapia da Faculdade Morgana Potrich (FAMP), ministrando as disciplinas de Ciências do Movimento, Ergonomia, Desportiva, Reumatologia, Geriatria, Neurologia e supervisão de Estágio em Neurologia. Membro efetivo do Grupo de Pesquisa Laboratório de Avaliação e Intervenção em Gerontologia (LAIG), com ênfase nos temas: promoção da saúde e prevenção de riscos em idosos frágeis e pessoas que vivem com demência, intervenções para cuidadores e estudos de validação.

Master in Gerontology by the Graduate Program in Gerontology from the Federal University of São Carlos (2021). PhD in progress in the area of Health Sciences by the Graduate Program in Nursing at the same institution. He is currently a professor of the Physiotherapy course at Morgana Potrich College (FAMP), teaching the disciplines of Movement Sciences, Ergonomics, Sports, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Geriatrics and Internship in Neurology. Effective member of the Research Group Laboratory of Evaluation and Intervention in Gerontology (LAIG), with emphasis on the following topics: health promotion and risk prevention in frail elderly and people living with dementia, interventions for the caregivers and validation studies.
