Professor at the Department of Geography at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and at the Postgraduate Programs in Geography (PPGeo/UFC/CAPES 6) and in Development and Environment (PRODEMA/UFC/CAPES 5). PhD in Geography from the University of Barcelona (2001). I am a researcher in Geosciences, with an emphasis on Physical Geography and Geomorphology, working mainly on the following topics: geoenvironmental indicators of fluctuations in relative sea level and climate change, geomorphological evolution of the coastal plain, planning and management, socio-environmental impacts of large undertakings on the coast, social cartography, environmental and climate justice. Research Productivity Scholarship from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq - Level 1B).
