Os estudos integrados tÃm se tornado uma das formas de anÃlise da complexa relaÃÃo homem-natureza. Isso faz do mÃtodo geossistÃmico o principal instrumento de interpretaÃÃo da dinÃmica da paisagem e das relaÃÃes intrÃnsecas à mesma com à aÃÃo antropogÃnica. Dessa forma, a presente dissertaÃÃo focaliza os estudos integrados das unidades geoambientais e os impactos na zona costeira paraense, especificamente a Ilha de Algodoal-Maiandeua/PA, localizada a 170 km da capital â BelÃm. O geossistema foi o ponto de partida da presente anÃlise, focalizando a localizaÃÃo, a interpretaÃÃo, e a espacializaÃÃo como objetivo geral da pesquisa. Foram definidas unidades geoambientais, caracterÃsticas geolÃgica-geomorfolÃgicas, levando em consideraÃÃo as formas de uso e ocupaÃÃo. A cartografia temÃtica tornou-se processo contÃnuo e sÃntese da pesquisa, sendo primordial na localizaÃÃo das principais formas de uso e ocupaÃÃo, bem como na estruturaÃÃo da proposta do ecozoneamento para disciplinar os vÃrios usos. Sugestiona-se, ainda, um plano de gestÃo integrada da Zona Costeira como produto final do presente trabalho. Esta pesquisa buscou ser a base de uma nova estruturaÃÃo do territÃrio para melhor equacionar os problemas ambientais existentes na Ãrea estudada. The integrated studies had become one of the forms of a nalysis of the complex relation between man and nature. This makes the method geosystemic the main instrument of interpretation of the dynamics of the landscape and the intrinsic relations with the human action. This way, the present dissertation focuses the integrated studies of the geoambientais units and the impacts in the paraense coastal zone, specifically the Island of Algodoal-Maiandeua/PA, located at 170 km of the capital - BelÃm. Geosystem was the starting point of the present analysis, focusing the localization, the interpretation as objective general of the research. Geoambientais units had defined, characteristic geologic-geomorphologic, taking in consideration the forms of use and occupation. The thematic cartography became continuous process and synthesis of the research, being primary in the localization of the main forms of use and occupation, as well as in the structuring of the proposal of the ambient zone to disciplining the some uses. Suggest a plan of managementintegrated of the Coastal Zone as end product of the present work. This research searched to be the base of a new structuring of the territory to better equate the existing ambient problems in the studied area.
