Cristiano Márcio Alves de Souza

Graduate at Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (1999) and PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (2004). Associate Professor at the Federal University of Grande Dourados. Advisor of the Graduate Programs in Agricultural Engineering (Master in Engineering of Agricultural Systems) and of the Graduate Programs in Agronomy (Master's and Doctorate in Plant Production) of UFGD. Has experience in the area of Agricultural Mechanization and Post-Harvesting of Agricultural Products, working mainly in the following subjects: harvest, sowing, precision agriculture, soil compaction, agricultural pesticides application technology, grain drying and aeration, modeling, simulation and optimization of agricultural systems, machines design and energy in agriculture.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1999) e doutorado em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2004). Atualmente é Professor da Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados. É Orientador permanente do Programas de Pós-graduação em Engenharia Agrícola (Mestrado em Engenharia de Sistemas Agrícolas) e do Programas de Pós-graduação em Agronomia (Mestrado e Doutorado em Produção Vegetal) da UFGD. Tem experiência na área de Mecanização Agrícola e Pós-Colheita de Produtos Agrícolas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: colheita, semeadura, agricultura de precisão, compactação do solo, tecnologia de aplicação de defensivos agrícolas, secagem e aeração de grãos, modelagem, simulação e otimização de sistemas agrícolas, projeto de máquinas e energia na agricultura.
