José Rubens Lima Jardilino

Degree in Philosophy and Theology; Master in Social Sciences and Religion from the Methodist University of São Paulo; PhD in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. He carried out post-doctoral studies in the History of Education - Université Laval, Quebec, Canada; Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia - UPTC, Colombia; in History at Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Sevilla. He held administrative/academic functions at Universidade Nove de Julho: Director of the Education Department (2000-2002); Academic Dean (2003-2006) and professor in Master´s and Doctoral courses (2000-2010). He is a professor at the Federal University of Ouro Preto - UFOP, since 2010 at the Department of Education (DEEDU) and at the Master's/Doctorate program, he was its coordinator from 2012-2015 and vice-coordinator from 2011-2012. He was a Member of the State Council of Education of São Paulo (2003-2007), Member of the Municipal Education Council of the City of Mariana and Vice-President (2018-2021). He is a visiting professor and researcher at the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, the Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain and the Network of Public Colombian Universities (RUDECOLOMBIA). In the area of scientific publishing, he was the founder of Revista Eccos and its editor until 2010; He is current Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Research on Teacher Training -ANPED/ ed. AUTÊNTICA (2014- current); He is a member of the editorial boards of national and international journals in the areas of education and humanities. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Federal University of Ouro Preto (current 2019 Director). Member of GT.08 of the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education -ANPED (Coordination of the Scientific Committee 2013-2015); He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Society for the History of Latin American Education (President- 2007-2011 and Vice-President 2016-2021); Coordinator of the FOPROFI/Cnpq/UFOP Research Group; vice director of the HISULA Research Group ? History of the Latin American University Colciencia/UPTC-Colombia. Exerceu funções administrativas/acadêmicas na Universidade Nove de Julho: Diretor Departamento de Educação (2000-2002); Pró-Reitor Acadêmico (2003-2006) e professor do PPGE/UNINOVE de (2000-2010). É professor da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto - UFOP, desde 2010 no Departamento de Educação - DEEDU e do PPGE-UFOP Mestrado/Doutorado; coordenador de 2012-2015 e vice-coordenador 2011-2012. Membro do Conselho Estadual de Educação de São Paulo (2003-2007) Membro do Conselho Municipal de Educação da Cidade de Mariana e vice-presidente (2018-2021). É professor visitante e pesquisador da Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colômbia, da Universidad Pablo de Olavide en Sevilla, Espanha e da Rede de Universidades Públicas Colombianas (RUDECOLOMBIA); Pesquisador Visitante no Instituto Interuniversitario de Investigación Educativa (IESED-CHILE) da Red en Educación de universidades públicas do Chile.
