Wânderson de Oliveira Assis

graduate at Electrical Engineering from Instituto Católico de Minas Gerais (1994), Master Degree at Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá (1997) and Doctor Degree at Electric Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002).Currently is professor of Maua Institute of Technology where coordinates since 2004 the postgraduate courses in Industrial Process Controle Engineering and Industrial Automation. Additionally, he coordinated the Electronic Engineering course from July / 2012 to December / 2019 and the Electrical Engineering course from July / 2012 to September / 2017. His areas of expertise include IoT (Internet of Things), control systems, remote laboratories (WebLabs), assistive technology, precision agriculture, industrial automation, autonomous robotic, artificial intelligence (neural networks and fuzzy logic) and embedded electronics.

possui graduação em Engenharia Industrial Elétrica pelo Instituto Católico de Minas Gerais (1994), mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Escola Federal de Engenharia de Itajubá (1997) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002). Atualmente é professor titular do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia onde coordena desde 2004 os cursos de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Controle de Processos Industriais e Automação Industrial. Adicionalmente coordenou o curso de Engenharia Eletrônica de julho/2012 a dezembro/2019 e o curso de Engenharia Elétrica de julho/2012 a setembro/2017. Suas áreas de atuação incluem IoT (Internet of Things), sistemas de controle, laboratórios remotos (WebLabs), tecnologia assistiva, agricultura de precisão, automação industrial, robótica autônoma, inteligência artificial (redes neurais e lógica fuzzy) e eletrônica embarcada.
