Paulo Humberto Moreira Nunes

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Piauí (1974), a Master's degree in General Physiology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1977) and a PhD in Biotechnology from the Northeast Network of Biotechnology-RENORBIO (2012). He is currently Adjunct Professor II of the Federal University of Piauí. He has experience in the Medical Education Area, with emphasis in Biophysics, and in the research area of pharmacological activity of medicinal plants, with emphasis on the investigation of anti-ulcerogenic and anti-diarrheic activity.

Possui Graduação em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Piauí (1974), Mestrado em Fisiologia Geral pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1977) e Doutorado em Biotecnologia pela Rede Nordeste de Biotecnologia-RENORBIO (2012). Atualmente é Professor Adjunto II da Universidade Federal do Piauí. Tem experiência na Área de Ensino de Medicina, com ênfase em Biofísica, e na área de pesquisa de atividade farmacológica de plantas medicinais, com ênfase na investigação de atividade anti-ulcerogênica e anti-diarréica.
