Arquiteto, Mestre e Doutor em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Docente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo (PósARQ) e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia e Gestão do Conhecimento (PPGEGC), ambos na UFSC. Ao longo da carreira tem atuado nas seguintes disciplinas: Métodos de Representação, Geometria, Produção Hipermidia, Criatividade e Inovação, Teoria Geral de Sistemas, Sistemas Multimídia e Infografias, Erros Humanos, História e Teoria da Mídia e, mais recentemente, Cibercidades e Cibersociedade. Desenvolve pesquisas com foco em mídias digitais e inclusão, coordenando o Laboratório de Mídias Digitais - LAMID do PPGEGC. Possui experiência profissional em projetos industriais, avaliações, projetos de arquitetura e construção civil. Recebeu o prêmio Jabuti 2015 na categoria Educação e Pedagogia por autoria do trabalho "Interdisciplinaridade como ferramenta de inclusão em ambiente de aprendizagem", capítulo do livro "Práticas da Interdisciplinaridade no Ensino e Pesquisa".
Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1983), Degree in Engineering Op. Mechanics from the University of Caxias do Sul (1974), master's degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, and a Ph.D. in Production Engineering the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2005). Currently he is a volunteer teacher at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and disciplines minister and guides students in masters and doctoral Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at UFSC (where employee is a teacher) and the Graduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management UFSC (which is permanent teacher has professional experience in industrial Projects, Reviews, Projects and Construction Arquiterura As a teacher acts in the disciplines:.. Methods of Representation, Geometry, Hypermedia Production, Creativity and Innovation, General Systems Theory, Multimedia systems and Infographics, cybercities, Cybersociety, Human Errors and History and Theory of Media. He is coordinator of Project WebGD Search Affordable, supported by the resources of the Capes AUX-PE-PROESP program and other related projects that address the inclusion of blind and deaf people through Assistive Technologies.
