Graduated in Bioprocess Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a master's degree in Chemical and Biochemical Process Engineering from UFRJ. Currently, she is a doctoral fellow (CNPQ) in Food Science from the UFRJ. She works in the area of Bioprocesses and Biotechnology, working mainly on the following topics: enzymatic hydrolysis, extraction of plant bioactive compounds, valorization of agro-industrial residues, production of plant-derived protein hydrolysates, and development of green solvents. She participated in the CAPES-funded Science Without Borders sandwich graduate program, where she studied Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Engineering for one year at the Cork Institute of Technology.
Possui graduação em Engenharia de Bioprocessos pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) e mestrado em Engenharia de Processos Químicos e Bioquímicos pela UFRJ. Atualmente é bolsista de doutorado (CNPQ) em Ciência de Alimentos pela UFRJ. Tem experiência na área de Bioprocessos e Biotecnologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: hidrólise enzimática, extração de compostos bioativos vegetais, valorização de resíduos agroindustriais, produção de hidrolisados proteicos de origem vegetal e desenvolvimento de solventes verdes.
