Bachelor in Chemistry from the Federal University of Viçosa (2005). Master by the Institute of Geosciences of UNICAMP (2007) and Doctor by the same institution (2010). I have been working, since 2011, as a professor of General, Environmental, Analytical and Instrumental Chemistry at the Department of Natural Sciences (DCN) at Centro Universitário Norte do Espírito Santo (CEUNES). With hands-on experience in the certification of reference materials (RM), preparation of in-house RM, quality assurance, and control protocols for chemical assays. And with the implementation of analytical methods using ICP-MS, AAS, HPLC, and GC, according to SANTE and ISO Guidelines. Master the analysis with FTIR, Zeta Potential, XRD, and XRF. Domain's the application of statistical tools for data processing, spatial representations, and design of experiments. I have calibrated water quality models to assess the impacts of urban organic loads on the availability of nutrients (N and P) on riverine water, considering point and diffuse sources, the self-cleaning capacity, and saline intrusion in the São Mateus River. Besides assessing the groundwater contamination at Guriri beach resort (São Mateus-ES) and implementing treatment measures with newly designed chlorinators. I have developed procedures for oil sample preparation to determine their inorganic constituents. To optimize the synthesis and characterization of struvite using DRX, FTIR, Zeta Potential, and related techniques. Currently, I am focused on chromatographic methods (HPLC-DAD and CG-MS) for pesticide determination and coordinating projects encouraging recycling and water treatment.
