Nilton Moura Barroso Neto

Holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Brasília (UnB) since 2010 with a thesis entitled "Bernstein-Type Rigidity Theorems and the Structure of Submanifolds with Constant Mean Curvature". He holds a master's degree from the same university with a dissertation entitled "The Hopf Fibration and Willmore Surfaces" obtained in 2006. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) in 2003 with a final work on the geometry. fundaments. He is especially interested in the areas of History of Mathematics, History of Science, Geometry, Topology and Fundaments . Currently works at UnB with an emphasis on teaching mathematics in its various areas and outspreads.

É doutor em Matemática pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB) desde 2010 com tese intitulada "Teoremas de Rigidez Tipo-Bernstein e a Estrutura de Subvariedades com Curvatura Média Constante". Possui mestrado pela mesma universidade com dissertação sob o título "A Fibração de Hopf e as Superfícies de Willmore", obtido em 2006. Obteve o bacharelado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA) em 2003 com trabalho final sobre os fundamentos da Geometria. Tem especial interesse pelas áreas de História da Matemática, História da Ciência, Geometria, Topologia e Fundamentos. Atualmente trabalha na UnB com ênfase no ensino da matemática em suas diversas áreas e desdobramentos.
