Lucas Barbosa Marcos

Doutor em Engenharia Elétrica (2021) pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP) (Bolsa CAPES). Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica (2017) também pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP) (Bolsa FAPESP). Graduado em Engenharia Elétrica pela USP - São Carlos, obtendo também certificado de estudos especiais em Automação pela mesma universidade. Além disso, concluiu o 11º Treinamento PIPE de Empreendedorismo em Alta Tecnologia, tendo sido certificado pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) em 2019. Atualmente realiza estágio de pós-doutorado (2021-2023) no Laboratório de Sistemas Inteligentes da Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos, Universidade de São Paulo (LASI/USP). Seu estágio de pós-doutoramento está atrelado a bolsa FAPESP categoria TT-5, vinculada ao Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia para Sistemas Autônomos Cooperativos Aplicados em Segurança e Meio Ambiente (INCT/InSAC). Tem mais de dez anos de experiência na área de veículos autônomos, além de experiência em sistemas dinâmicos, controle robusto e filtragem de sistemas Markovianos, sistemas de controle heterogêneos cooperativos, controle de veículos autônomos e aplicações de filtragem. Atua como revisor para diversos periódicos internacionais de seletiva política editorial, tais como Control Engineering Practice, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Intelligent Systems e IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs.

PhD in Electrical Engineering (2021) from the University of São Paulo (USP) (CAPES Scholarship). Master in Electrical Engineering (2017) also from the University of São Paulo (USP) (FAPESP Scholarship). Graduated in Electrical Engineering from USP - São Carlos, also obtaining a certificate of special studies in Automation from the same university. Also, he concluded the 11th PIPE Training in High Technology Entrepreneurship, being certified by the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP) in 2019. He is currently carrying out a postdoctoral internship (2021-2023) at the Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo (LASI/USP). His post-doctoral internship is linked to a FAPESP scholarship, category TT-5, associated to the National Institute of Science and Technology for Cooperative Autonomous Systems Applied to Safety and the Environment (INCT/InSAC). He has more than ten years of experience in the field of autonomous vehicles, in addition to experience in dynamic systems, robust control and filtering of Markovian systems, cooperative heterogeneous control systems, autonomous vehicle control and filtering applications. He serves as a reviewer for several international selective editorial policy journals, such as Control Engineering Practice, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Intelligent Systems, and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs.
