Rogerio Tenorio de Azevedo

Tenório nasceu em Aracaju. Atualmente é professor de Língua Inglesa da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Aracaju, lecionando na Escola Municipal Prof. José Antônio da Costa Melo e Escola Municipal Profa. Maria Thétis Nunes. É doutorando em Letras do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras da Universidade Federal de Sergipe, onde estuda as perspectivas pós-método na formação de professores de língua inglesa da rede municipal de Aracaju. É Coordenador Estadual do Programa de Implementação da Base Nacional Comum Curricular e do Currículo de Sergipe. Tenório graduou-se em Letras-Inglês pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) (2004 - 2009) onde foi orientando de PIBIC em Literatura de Língua Inglesa e estudos pós-coloniais (2007-2009). Possui mestrado em Letras pela UFS (2012-2014) com a dissertação "Identidade de gênero, futebol e videogames", sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Vanderlei Zacchi. Em 2014, esteve na Universidade de Manitoba, Canadá, como pesquisador visitante, sob supervisão da Dr. Diana Brydon. Foi professor substituto do Departamento de Letras Estrangeiras da UFS (2010 - 2012). É especialista em Formação Docente para o Ensino a Distância pela Escola Superior Aberta do Brasil (ESAB). Foi Coordenador Pedagógico da Escola Municipal General Freitas Brandão (2015) e Diretor Escolar da Escola Municipal Anísio Teixeira (2016-2017). Além disso, foi articulador de Língua Inglesa da Coordenadoria do Ensino Fundamental da SEMED-ARACAJU. Foi um dos redatores de língua inglesa do Currículo do Estado de Sergipe (2018). Tem como áreas de interesse os seguintes temas: Perspectivas pós-método, Formação de Professoras/es de Língua Inglesa, Jogos digitais, Currículo, Identidade de gênero.

Tenório was born in Aracaju. He is currently an English language teacher at the City Hall of Aracaju, teaching at Prof. José Antônio da Costa Melo Elementary School and Profa. Maria Thétis Nunes Elementary School. He is a PhD student in Letters at the Postgraduate Program in Letters at the Federal University of Sergipe, where he studies the post-method perspectives in the training of English language teachers in the city of Aracaju. He is the State Coordinator of the Program for the Implementation of the Common National Curricular Base and the Sergipe Curriculum. Tenório undergraduated in Letras-Inglês from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) (2004 - 2009) where he was a PIBIC researcher in English Language Literature and post-colonial studies (2007-2009). He holds a master's degree in Letters from UFS (2012-2014) with the dissertation "Gender identity, football and video games", under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Vanderlei Zacchi. In 2014, he was at the University of Manitoba, Canada, as a visiting researcher, under the supervision of Dr. Diana Brydon. He was a substitute professor at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​at UFS (2010 - 2012). He is a specialist in Teacher Education for Distance Learning at Escola Superior Aberta do Brasil (ESAB). He was Pedagogical Coordinator of the Municipal School General Freitas Brandão (2015) and School Director of the Municipal School Anísio Teixeira (2016-2017). In addition, he was coordinator of the English Language of the Coordination of Elementary Education at SEMED-ARACAJU. He was one of the English-speaking writers of the Sergipe State Curriculum (2018). His areas of interest are the following topics: Post-method perspectives, English Language Teacher Education, Digital games, Curriculum, Gender identity.
