Letícia de Souza Aquino

Doctoral student (2020-2024) of the Graduate Program in Linguistics (PPGL) at the University of Brasília (UNB) with the thesis project entitled: Kanoé: development of a teaching methodology and linguistic revitalization. Sandwich PhD by the Capes-Print program at Indiana University (IU)/USA; master PPGL UNB/UNICAMP (2009-2010) with the research work entitled: Sociolinguistic Research among the Asuriní of Tocantins: contribution to the National Inventory of Linguistic Diversity; degree in Portuguese Language and Literature and Spanish Language and Hispanic and Latin American Literature from UNB (2002-2009). He studied Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Salamanca (2008), as well as Mayan Languages at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM-2011) and English Language at the Ability School in Australia (2013). She held positions as a Spanish language teacher at the School of Languages at UNB Idiomas; Volunteer professor at the Dept. of Linguistics at UNB; she was a consultant and reviewer specializing in educational evaluation at Cebraspe/UnB; Portuguese teacher for foreigners and indigenous and non-indigenous natives in Brazil and for the German, Dutch and Cuban embassies; in Mexico she taught PBSL, at the Casa do Brasil school in Mexico, and also in Australia. Currently, she is a public servant, effective teacher of the Portuguese language at the SEE-DF, of the private schools and online courses. Has experience and interest in the area of Literature, Linguistics, Translation, Proofreading, Applied Linguistics and Education, Sociolinguistics, Anthropological Linguistics, Portuguese Language Assessment as MT, FL and L2, assessment and teaching of MT and FL, Brazilian Indigenous Languages, Linguistic Revitalization and language teaching-learning.

Doutorado sanduíche pelo programa Capes-Print na Indiana University (IU)/USA; mestre PPGL UNB/UNICAMP (2009-2010) com o trabalho de pesquisa intitulado: Pesquisas Sociolinguísticas entre os Asuriní do Tocantins: contribuição para o Inventário Nacional da Diversidade Linguística; graduação em Letras Português e respectivas Literaturas e Letras Espanhol e Literaturas hispano e latino-americanas pela UNB (2002-2009). Estudou Língua e Cultura Espanhola na Universidade de Salamanca (2008), bem como Línguas Mayas na Universidade Nacional Autónoma do México (UNAM-2011) e Língua Inglesa na Ability School na Austrália (2013). Exerceu cargos de professora de língua espanhola na Escola de Línguas da UNB idiomas; professora voluntária do Depto. de Linguística da UNB; foi consultora e revisora especialista em avaliação educacional do Cebraspe/UnB; professora de português para estrangeiros e nativos indígenas e não-indígenas no Brasil e para as embaixadas da Alemanha, Holanda e Cuba; no México deu aulas de PBSL, na escola Casa do Brasil no México, e também na Austrália. Atualmente é servidora pública professora efetiva de língua portuguesa da Secretaria de Educação do Estado e DF, da rede particular de ensino e cursos on-line. Tem experiência e interesse na área de Letras, Linguística e Literatura, Tradução, Revisão, Linguística Aplicada e Educação, Sociolinguística, Linguística Antropológica, Avaliação de Língua Portuguesa como LM, LE e L2, avaliação e ensino de LM e LE, Línguas Indígenas Brasileiras, Revitalização Linguística e ensino-aprendizagem de línguas.
