Kevin Eduardo Lucas Marcillo

Kevin E. Lucas was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in 1991. He received the bachelor's degree in electronic and telecommunications engineering from the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), Ecuador, in 2015, and the master's degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPa), Brazil, in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in control and automation engineering with the Department of Automation and Systems, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil, with a focus on power electronics and microgrids. He is currently an Invited Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ESPOL, and member of CNPq research group in Energy Processing (GEPEN), UFSC. His current research interests include modeling, nonlinear and robust control of industrial and power electronic systems, power conversion for energy distribution, MVDC systems, modular converters, and microgrids.
