Rosani Ursula Ketzer Umbach

Possui graduação em Comunicação Social (1983), graduação em Letras (1985) e mestrado em Letras (1991) pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria e doutorado em Neuere Deutsche Literatur (1997) pela Freie Universität Berlin, Alemanha, com bolsa CAPES/DAAD. Realizou pós-doutorado (2005) na Universidade de Tübingen, Alemanha, com bolsa CAPES. Participou do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior - SINAES/INEP/MEC de 2006 a 2008, do Processo de Avaliação e Seleção de obras de literatura para o Programa Nacional Biblioteca da Escola (PNBE 2015) e do Processo de Avaliação de obras literárias para o Programa Nacional do Livro e do Material Didático (PNLD 2018, 2020 e 2021). Atualmente é professora titular da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, editora do periódico Literatura e Autoritarismo e bolsista de produtividade em pesquisa 1C do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPq. Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Literatura Comparada, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: ficção e história, cultura, memória e identidade, autoritarismo e repressão, narrativas (auto) biográficas.

She holds a degree in Social Communication (1983), a degree in Letters (1985) and a master's degree in Letters (1991) from the Federal University of Santa Maria and a PhD in Neuere Deutsche Literatur (1997) from the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, as a DAAD Scholar. She held a postdoctoral degree (2005) at the University of Tübingen, Germany, with a CAPES scholarship. Participated in the National Higher Education Evaluation System - SINAES/INEP/MEC from 2006 to 2008, in the Evaluation and Selection Process of works of Literature for the National School Library Program (PNBE 2015) and in the Evaluation Process of literary works for the National Book and Teaching Material Program (PNLD 2018). She is currently a 1C Research Productivity Fellow at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq and a full professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria. She has experience in the field of Letters, with an emphasis on Comparative Literature, working mainly on the following subjects: fiction and history, culture, memory and identity, authoritarianism and repression, (auto)biographical narratives.
