Guilherme Pereira Borges
I have been working for over 15 years in Research and Development (R&D) projects and providing services to the electricity sector.
My degree is in Electrical Engineering and I completed my Masters and PhD at the University of São Paulo - SP, also in electrical engineering. I am experienced in the development and implementation of consolidated computer systems for specific studies in the electrical sector.
My experience brings together technical and scientific knowledge acquired based on both academic and business performance, which makes the curriculum versatile and interdisciplinary, important characteristics for a quality researcher. My areas of interest and research interests include fields such as: Power Systems, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Complex Systems, Optimization Methods, Smart Grids and Intelligent Cities.
With over 17 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D) projects and services in the electrical sector, I am here to introduce myself! I am graduated in Electrical Engineering and completed my MSc and PhD at the University of São Paulo - SP, all in the area of electrical engineering with computer engineering.
Throughout my career, I acquired skills in developing and implementing top-of-the-line computing systems for specialized studies in the electrical sector. I am a mix of technical and scientific knowledge, acquired both in academia and in the real world, which makes me a versatile and multidisciplinary researcher.
My research interests include power generation, transmission and distribution systems, complex systems, optimization methods, smart grids, and artificial intelligence. I am passionate about exploring these areas and contributing to advances in the electricity sector. I enjoy multidisciplinary challenges, as I believe that it is at the intersection of different fields that the most innovative and impactful solutions emerge.
My goal is to apply innovative approaches and state-of-the-art technologies to address complex challenges and optimize the efficiency and sustainability of energy systems. With a solid foundation in theoretical concepts and practical applications, I am fully committed to making valuable contributions to the field through rigorous research and collaborative projects. Together, we can electrify the world of electricity and bring surprising solutions to multidisciplinary issues!
