Kátia Rodrigues Batista de Oliveira

Bachelor's in Animal Science for the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) with internship in the Fish Culture Department of the Department of Animal Biology, UFV from 2009 to 2012. She received a Scientific Initiation scholarship from CNPq for three consecutive years, guided by Dra. Ana Lucia Salaro, developing scientific work in the areas of oil inclusion and use of yeast in diets for fish. She was also a CNPq fellow for the Science Without Borders program from 2012 to 2013, where she did an internship at the School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences - Auburn University (Auburn, AL, United States), under the guidance of Dr. D. Allen Davis, working in the area of ​​Marine Animal Nutrition, which added knowledge about planning and building experimental laboratories, maintenance and repair of aerators, collection of blood and tissue samples, laboratory analysis, fish reproduction and hatching, stocking, breeding and harvesting of Litopenaeus vannamei. Master's Degree in Aquaculture at the Aquaculture Center of the State University of São Paulo 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' (CAUNESP) as a FAPESP fellow in 2016 with internship abroad (Bolsa BEPE / FAPESP) at the University of Porto, in Nutrition and Immunobiology Research Group (NUTRIMU). PhD in the area of ​​Monogastric Nutrition, specifically in the Nutrition of Aquatic Organisms, by the Animal Science Department of the Federal University of Lavras. She participated in the Sandwich Doctorate program (PDSE / CAPES) at the University of Porto, at the Nutrition and Immunobiology Research Group (NUTRIMU).

Graduada em Zootecnia pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Estagiou no Setor de Piscicultura do Departamento de Biologia Animal, UFV de 2009 a 2012. Foi bolsista de Iniciação Científica do CNPq por três anos consecutivos, orientada pela Dra Ana Lucia Salaro, desenvolvendo trabahos científicos nas áreas de inclusão de óleos e uso de levedura em dietas para peixes. Foi também bolsista do CNPq pelo programa Ciências Sem Fronteiras de 2012 a 2013, onde realizou estágio na School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences - Auburn University (Auburn, AL, Estados Unidos), sob orientação do Dr. D. Allen Davis, atuando na área de Nutrição de Animais Marinhos, o que lhe adicionou conhecimentos sobre planejamento e construção de laboratórios experimentais, manutenção e reparo de aeradores, coleta de amostras de sangue e tecidos, análises laboratoriais, reprodução e alevinagem de peixes, estocagem, criação e despeca de Litopenaeus vannamei em tanques escavados. Concluiu o Mestrado em Aquicultura pelo Centro de Aquicultura da Universidade Estadual Paulista 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' (CAUNESP) como bolsista da FAPESP em 2016. Realizou estágio de pesquisa no Exterior (Bolsa BEPE/FAPESP) na Universidade do Porto, no Nutrition and Immunobiology Research Group (NUTRIMU). Doutora na área de Nutrição de Monogástricos, especificamente na Nutrição de Organismos Aquáticos, pelo Departamento de Zootecnia da Universidade Federal de Lavras. Participou do programa de Doutorado Sanduíche (PDSE/CAPES) na Universidade do Porto, no Nutrition and Immunobiology Research Group (NUTRIMU).
