Carlos Augusto Moreira da Nóbrega (Guto Nóbrega) is Post-Doctor from UnB, Art and Technology research line at PPGAV / UnB (2019). He holds a PhD in Interactive Arts from the postgraduate program Planetary Collegium, University of Plymouth UK (2009), where he developed research under the supervision of Prof. Roy Ascott for 4 years with a full PhD scholarship from CAPES. He is an artist, researcher, Master in Communication, Technology and Aesthetics by ECO-UFRJ (2003) and Bachelor in printmaking by EBA / UFRJ (1998). He is an associate professor at EBA / UFRJ where he teaches since 1995 and a permanent professor at PPGAV / UnB (2018 - current). He founded and acts as one of the coordinators of NANO - Nucleus of Art and New Organisms, research space for investigation and artistic creation. He was coordinator of the Graduate Program in Visual Arts / EBA / UFRJ (2015-2017) and currently acts as a representative of the Interdisciplinary Poetics research line in the same program. Since 2019 he is a CNPq Research Productivity Scholar - Level 2.
Carlos Augusto Moreira da Nóbrega (Guto Nóbrega) é Pós-Doutor pela UnB, linha Arte e Tecnologia do PPGAV/UnB (2019), é Doutor (2009) em Interactive Arts pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação Planetary Collegium, University of Plymouth, UK, onde desenvolveu pesquisa sob orientação do Prof. Roy Ascott. É artista, pesquisador, Mestre em Comunicação, Tecnologia e Estética pela ECO-UFRJ (2003) e Bacharel em gravura pela EBA/UFRJ (1998). É professor associado da EBA/UFRJ onde leciona desde 1995 e professor permanente do PPGAV/UnB (2018 - atual). Fundou e atua como um dos coordenadores do NANO - Núcleo de Arte e Novos Organismos, espaço de pesquisa para investigação e criação artística. Foi coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais / EBA/UFRJ (2015-2017) e atualmente atua como representante da linha Poéticas Interdisciplinares no mesmo programa. Desde 2019 é Bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq - Nível 2.
